This Charter is one of the most popular charters offered during the peak of the fishing season. The combination Halibut and Salmon fishing charters go out for everything and include fishing for Red Snapper, Black Bass and all manner of Rockfish, as well as Lingcod and Halibut.  Catch records from our partnered charters stand among the best in the Seward area. This is one of the few charters that offer trips to target all the sports fish caught in their region. They are known for their drift fishing techniques, and while they do anchor, they don't sit in one spot all day long. Keep in mind that Halibut will not be able to be obtained on Wednesdays.

Half Day Salmon/RockFish Trips -

We also offer Half Day Salmon/Rockfish trips. Two trips provided a day; morning and afternoon which both last around 4-5 five hours. These trips venture out into the 20-mile-long Resurrection Bay tucking out around the edges of Kenai Fjord National Park fishing for Yellow Eye Rockfish, Black Rockfish, and Salmon. You will also enjoy the majestic scenery as well as wildlife including bald eagles, whales, orcas, puffins, sea lions, mountain goats and more! When you return, your captain will hang your catch at the JDock Hanging station and fillet it for you. From there you can visit JDock Seafood to have your seafood professionally vacuum packed, frozen and shipped home for your enjoyment.

Guided Fishing Trips - Walk in Guided Sockeye Salmon (Red Salmon)

Many will swear that for eating, no salmon tops the Alaska red salmon. The red salmon is by far the State of Alaska's most valuable commercial salmon species, with millions of fish returning to Bristol Bay, the Copper River Basin, the Prince William Sound, Upper Cook inlet and the Kenai Peninsula. Pound for pound the sockeye, is the strongest and most demanding sport fish in Alaska. Wes will provide poles and gear needed to fish for this species of fish from one of their many locations where the salmon come in from cold Alaskan waters of Resurrection Bay and guide you as you fish for sockeye that abound in this part of Alaska. He will walk you into the local gathering areas that the fish group in before running up the rivers. It's a fun and exciting time for all ages and experience levels.
