Combo Fish and Sightsee - Fish, Sightsee and Kayak in Aialik Bay

This tour is only available on Wednesdays "No Halibut" fishing days*. This tour will take you to Aialik Bay for sightseeing and guided kayaking in front of the calving tidewater glaciers of Aialik or Holgate depending on the Captains choice. On the way back to Seward, stop for some angler time. Target Salmon and/or Rock fish. Lunches, tackle, kayaking gear and much more are provided. Be sure to dress in layers and bring a camera!

  • Each trip includes approximately 4 hours of sightseeing on the water taxi (2-hour ride in and 2 hour ride out)
  • Approximately 4 hours of paddling at glaciers in the National Park
  • Approximately 4 hours of fishing for the target species before returning to the dock.
  • Group Rates and Dates may be available for large parties.
  • Fishing Licenses are not included, but can be purchased on site upon check-in.

*State and Federal law state that Halibut may NOT be targeted or retained on Wednesdays, and are closed for the retention of Halibut.

Northwestern Day Trip - Kayaking

Return to geologic antiquity with their Northwestern paddle. Cruise aboard their custom built 24 passenger aluminum high speed landing craft that they take a two and a half hour ride through Kenai Fjords to Northwestern Lagoon. You will be able to sightsee on this excursion because animals are commonly seen on the way in and out of this kayaking tour. Here you disembark, where a rugged coastline folds into 5 sizeable glaciers for a full day's excursion (approximately 8 hours in the park estimated. You and your group will explore the park, moving from place to place with the goal of circumnavigating Straition Island in a roughly 10-15-mile journey depending on the group speeds and intentions.

This Paddle is a great option for those adventurers with limited time and it is also a normally flat water trip making it a great choice for a first-time experience and a great option for families with small children. Kayak or Canoe on one of their local salmon lakes with their fun-loving guides and explore the scenic lake which is home to Sockeye Salmon. This trip is often recommended for families with smaller children. This trip also really appeals to older visitors that just want a relaxing afternoon paddling on calm waters. Be prepared to see wondrous wildlife such as eagles, loons, salmon, sometimes bears, and always great scenery!

Paddle boarding is one of America's fastest growing water sports and we think you should give it a try! You can Stand Up Paddle Board, also known as SUP on Bear Lake! This is the trip for the Stand-Up Paddle Board paddler that wishes to get out the paddle a bit on an Alaskan lake with mellow and chill guides. The Alaskan lake is also home of a variety of wildlife including black bears, brown bears, loons, salmon, eagles and more. This is a great scenic location to practice your skills and enjoy Paddle Boarding with fun and skilled guides.
